Create tiny forest, watch stars
plus smashed donuts
Good morning, Louisville!
Here is another bad joke..
Why did the golfer bring two pairs of pants?
In case he got a hole in one
Lets get into it…
🔭 Telescopes from Galileo to Webb at Bernheim

Where: Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest, 2075 Clermont Rd, Clermont, KY
Cost: Included with $15 - $20 weekend admission per car
Weather: 🌌 Clear skies expected; perfect for stargazing
More Info: 🌐 Click this link
What to expect:
Unplug and look up. This evening program takes you on a journey from the star-gazing tools of the 1600s to today's space-age tech. You'll check out telescope replicas, play with optics, and see the science behind how we explore the universe.
Why we love it:
It’s a rare chance to blend screen-free time, science, and night sky magic. Bring a blanket, some curiosity, and maybe a few snacks for a stellar Friday night.
🦋💀 World Oddities Expo: Where Weird Thrives
When: Saturday, June 28, 2025 • 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM (VIP access at 10:00 AM)
Where: Kentucky Exposition Center, 937 Phillips Ln, Louisville, KY 40209
Cost: $20 general admission, $25 VIP early access • Kids 12 & under free with adult
Workshops: Extra fees apply ( e.g Diorama Terrarium, Butterfly Printing etc)
More Info: 🌐 Click here
What to expect:
The World Oddities Expo is part craft fair, part cabinet of curiosities. You'll find artists, oddball vendors, costumed performers, and hands-on workshops like butterfly pinning and diorama-making. For the bolder bunch, there’s even beginner taxidermy.
🧠 While younger kids may find some exhibits a little spooky, older ones with unique interests (think: bugs, bones, or Victorian weirdness) will love the creativity and DIY elements.
Why we love it:
It’s a full-on celebration of the strange and unusual—with a heart. The event supports small makers and invites families to lean into curiosity and craft in ways you won’t find anywhere else. Just maybe skip the taxidermy if your kid still sleeps with a nightlight.
Where to eat!
